Application Forms

Adoption - All of our dogs receive complete medical care, which includes worming, vaccinations, spaying/neutering and microchipping prior to their adoption. Our adoption fee is a minimum of $250.00. Please understand that it costs much more than that to save neglected and high-risk euthanasia dogs. We are not in this business to make money.

In the adoption application form, we ask a variety of questions in order to determine if a specific dog is right for you. All adopting parties are required to complete an application form prior to adoption. MPP, Inc. reserves the right to deny any adoption based on answers to this questionnaire and/or interviews prior to adoptions. If your application is not approved, we will do our best to explain our rationale. A denial is not a rejection of you as a person; rather, it is reflective of our commitment to place dogs in situations that best meet their needs.

Adoption application

Once you are approved to adopt one of our dogs, we will require you to fill out an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee via PayPal or Venmo (@montanapittieproject) before collecting your dog.

Fostering - If you are unable to adopt a dog, but would still like to rescue a dog, please consider fostering. We could not operate without the support of our many volunteers who foster dogs until we can find them the perfect forever home. Some people worry that they will get too attached to a dog during foster care and will 'foster fail.'

In fact, the most common question we are asked in regards to foster care is "How do you let go of a dog?"

Here's the secret:

It's the easiest thing in the world! Many of our dogs are rescued from doggie death row and our foster carers are the only thing that save them from certain euthanasia. Although it is sad to say goodbye to a beloved foster dog, the joy of knowing they get a second chance is a much stronger emotion! If you are interested in foster caring, please fill out the foster application below.
